За основу будут взяты песни 'Everything in Its Right Place' (из альбома 2000 года 'Kid A') и 'Jigsaw Falling into Place' (с пластинки 2007 года 'In Rainbows'). London Sinfonietta.
Последней на сегодняшний день студийной пластинкой Radiohead является альбом 'The King of Limbs'. Позже 'The King of Limbs' был издан на физических носителях.
Steve Reich, the world renowned minimalist composer, has announced that he will be reworking 'Everything In Its Right Prize' from the band's 'Kid A' album, and 'Jigsaw Falling Into Place' from 'In Rainbows' as part of a piece called 'Radio Rewrite'.
'Radio Rewrite' will be performed by 13 musicians from the London Sinfonietta on March 5 2013 as part of the UK capital's Southbank Festival.
Speaking about 'Radio Rewrite', Andrew Burke, who is chief executive of the London Sinfonietta, told The Guardian that the pieces would not simply be covers of the Oxford band's tracks.
He said: 'I don't think Steve will be quoting these songs directly – I don't think that's his style. How he uses the songs as a starting point for what he does is going to be part of the excitement.'
Burke also revealed that Reich was inspired to carry out the work after he met the band in Poland in September and heard that Jonny Greenwood had played one of his compositions.
Burke added: 'It was the first time he'd met them as musicians and spoken to them at length. Jonny Greenwood played [Reich composition] Electric Counterpoint – Steve saw this guy was seriously interested in his music and Steve became seriously interested in theirs.'

Source: http://www.nme.com/news/radiohead/61620 Radiohead have contributed 14 songs from their back catalogue to the soundtrack of new documentary The Island President.
The band, who are currently preparing for their extensive world tour in support of 'The King Of Limbs', have allowed a large number of their songs to be used in the soundtrack of a new documentary which looks at the plight of the Republic of Maldives.
The documentary, which won 'Best Documentary' at the Toronto film festival and will be screened this week at the Sundance film festival, tells the story of the struggle the island's leader President Nasheed is going through to raise awareness about the effect that climate change is having on the island.
Among the Radiohead songs featured on the soundtrack are 'Idioteque', 'Everything In Its Right Place', 'Reckoner', 'House Of Cards' and 'How To Disappear Completely'.
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke has also posted a message on the band's official website, pledging the band's support for the film.
He wrote: ''The Island President' is a film about the Maldives, and the struggle of President Nasheed to get the voice of a small nation heard in the climate change debate. Unless something is done to stop rising sea levels they will lose everything. The country will be under water. Some of our music was used to help tell the story.'

Альбом будет включать две работы авторства Пендерецкого ('Polymorphia' и 'Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima') и две композиции, сочиненных Гринвудом. Композиции, подготовленные Джонни, носят названия '48 Responses to Polymorphia' и 'Popcorn Superhet Receiver'.
Фрагменты из 'Popcorn Superhet Receiver' ранее уже использовались Джонни в саундтреке к фильму 'Нефть' ('There Will Be Blood').
The LP, which is due out in the US on March 13 according to Pitchfork, was made last autumn in Poland.
It consists of two pieces by Penderecki from the early 60s and two by Greenwood including 'Popcorn Superhet Receiver', which featured in the guitarist's film score for There Will Be Blood.

Jamie xx has teamed up with Caribou for a 100-minute mix as part of the Boiler Room Podcast series. The collab came as part of a celebratory event for the release of Radiohead's remix album TKOL RMX 1234567 at London's Corsica Studios. You can listen to that here, via Abeano.
Jamie xx contributed a take on 'Bloom' to TKOL RMX 1234567, and followed that with a more uptempo remix of the song in November. A limited edition 12' of that version is now set for release out on Young Turks January 23. (Note: An earlier version of this story indicated that this was a new Radiohead remix. It was actually originally posted on the Radiohead website in November.)
Jamie xx’s latest reworking of Radiohead’s ‘Bloom’ is getting an official release on a limited edition white label.
This is third remix Jamie XX did of Radiohead’s Bloom and only 500 copies have been printend. The 12″ vinyl comes in his own signature sleeve. Get your copy here. Official release date is January 23rd.
As the press release states: Jamie produced a mix of Bloom for Radiohead’s remix album ‘TKOL1234567′, a wholly ambient interpretation that contrasted his usual style. ‘Bloom Rework Part 3′ is the polar opposite – the haunting mood of part 1 replaced with euphoric jittering techno.
